3 - Go you go...

Watched the movie a couple of weeks back. Bloody depressing. Storyline was awesome but still it's was depressing. Not just any depressing. It was bloody depressing! It was so depressing my movie company was actually crying in the theatre. So I had to cover macho la! =D

Dhanush acting was freaking great! *speechless* Shruti Hassan... Layaaan je muka cantik kulit putih. =P

Got this one song stuck in the head. Lyrics was nice. Actually was kinda awesome. But I prefer the remix version of the song. First time, I'm hearing a heavy metal being used in tamil song with actually turned out great!

The background music is mind blowing! Layaaan...

Free Movie Passes! Woohoooo

Haha! Got four free movie passes for my birthday! Early gift this year. Got it from Nuffnang (well for those who don't know, it's some online blog advertising community which I'm in).

Unfortunately it's from GSC which means there's like a few only near me. Sunway Pyramid is the closest but getting a parking space there is like base jumping with an umbrella.

The fortunate part is, it's valid till 31st August 2011! Hahaha! Plenty of time to go!

Hahaha! =D Sweet!

Fear or Respect

Sounds just like another noun but fear can do wonders if applied wisely and with precision. Fear has showed us its incredible power throughout history. People fear more than they respect. Logically speaking, how many of us pray for the respect of god? Most of them pray for the fear of god superiority rather respect of His holiness. There's a quote from a movie I watched before than states that there are more temples for Lord Shiva than for Lord Brahma. For those who are not very sure about Hinduism and its god, Lord Shiva is Lord of Destruction whereby Lord Brahma is Lord of Creation. People prays more to Lord Shiva for the fear of His power rather than the respect of Lord Brahma for His greatness. Above all, everyone on earth has fear for a common thing. Death. If you don't fear death, then there is three reasons for that. Either you are God or Devil or out of your mind. If you don't have a halo or glow of light behind of your head, then you're not God. If you don't have horns and pointy tail, then you're not Devil. If you're not God or Devil, then you must be out of your mind. There are some people who perform better with the knowing of death looming close by. Numerous time history has proved it. Some people just crash and burn with fear of death but that just pave the way for a better person. Either way the fear of death accomplishes its mission, for the betterment of others. Like a wise man said before, "Men fear death, as children fear to go in the dark; and as that natural fear in children is increased with tales, so is the other." There are people who should get missed calls from The Reaper for those people are getting addicted to something very destructive to them and others. Power. Its nothing personal. Just a way of living. Being good and expecting others to do the same thing isn't the saneness thing to do. The world doesn't work that way. Here in this world, you be good and you'll be gone, as in dead. People WILL eat you alive, not literally though in some place they literally do eat you alive. Being a hypocrite may sound disgusting or even disturbing for some but being one in a way is the wisest thing to do. It's all about the survival of the fittest. Hypocrite I meant is not the deception of others or lie but... It's a little hard to explain in words but try putting it this way. Hypocrite in a sense of playing your cards wisely. Be good to those who done, does and will do good to you, be neutral to those who done, does and will do nothing good nor bad to you and be invisible to those who done, does and will do bad to you. Simple rule. People may call you hypocrite but then again, its all about the survival of the fittest since everyone fears death and has done, does and will do anything just to live one more day. I know cause I would.

New Found Interest

after watching 3 idiots and raktha charitra
i realised i have this interest in watching hindi movies
i found that not all but certain movies are quite enjoyable to watch
sometimes its the cast that plays a role in it (thats my point of view by the way)
sometimes its the storyline and sometimes its both
example, i once watched the movie guru which had abhishek bachchan in it
i totally love the movie

one, for its storyline (it was said to be loosely based on dhirubhai ambani life story) and two, for the performance of abhishek bachchan
but then i didnt like raavan thought it had the similar storyline of raavanan mainly due to abhishek bachchan (bad raavan expression)

i preferred vikram acting as raavanan =)

aamir khan was just awesome in 3 idiots
awesome storyline, hot heroine, pretty funny jokes, and the ending was just...
i couldnt think any word to substitute awesome
so, the ending was just bloody awesome!
not to forget the sceneries in the movies when their were on the road searching for rancho
well, the south are planning to remake it into a tamil blockbuster
lets just hope their do it

now, my current all time favorite of the year (for hindi flicks) is...

enough said bout this movie =)
vivek oberoi was explosive and had an outstanding performance
no wonder his ram gopal varmas favorite actor
this violent, gangster and bloody politics movie genre is not new for ram gopal varma
so for those who are a fan of that type of genre, then this is a movie not to be missed (watch bout part one and part two)
awesome repetitive theme song mila toh marega and maar de

by the way, happy new year!

Rakta Charitra 2

at last i have downloaded rakta charitra 2 from some blogspot
not a dvd copy though but still its not bad since it has subtitle for most of the scenes
for the other scene you just have to wonder what the heck are they talking about if you dont understand hindi
surya was pretty awesome in this movie
not bad

Rakta Charitra

just watched rakta charitra on youtube
dvd copy with subtitle =P
the movie is just plain dark, violent, gore and powerful
i never seen a movie with so much meat slicing sound in a two hour movie
the background musics is just as dark as the scenes it follows
the only flaw i can say will be the person narrating the movie
i think it the director ram gopal varma
it sounds like some hindu mythology rakhsha talking =P
now im just waiting for rakta charitra 2 to be uploaded to youtube
i would give rakta charitra 4 out of 5 rating
topic is over =)

Movie with Buddies

its been long since i last watched a movie in the cinema
and god was i glad that my wait was not to vain
endhiran was the choice of movie me and my buddies had in mind
since summit and sunway was house full
we had to ride all the way to times square
me and another buddy had to rush home after work which ended at 6.45pm for a movie which starts screening at 9.00pm
got home in time and before we knew it we were on our way to time square
after driving thru the traffic in federal
we got inside the theater exactly 9.10pm
lucky for us it was in kuala lumpur time square not new york time square or else we would have missed the movie first 15 minutes
since we malaysian usually arent punctual the movie started around 9.20pm
the movie started with an awesome intro song!
puthiya manitha!
damn ar rahman is a genius!
grafics was mind blowing!
story line was superb!
i dont want to be a spoiler and ruining the movie experience
so its better to watch it in the theater rather then reading it off some random guys blog
im booking another show since i cant get enough of rajinikanth (especially the robo), aisywarya rai, shankar's story line and ar rahman's music
overall endhiran is the most awesome-nest movie i ever watched after sivaji the boss
this is a movie i would never get bored watching over and over again! =D

Endhiran

endhiran audio launch,
i wish the movie will not be as bad as the audio launch was,
i guess india film makers will have second thoughts before coming here for their movie audio launch,
firstly our local host at the red carpet was like lost most of the time,
they were like stun looking at the stars,
and to interview the actors who came,
they practically pull them aside,
hahaha! you should have seen the look on the actors face!
then, they was the hostess who interviewed ar rahman,
hahaha! that was another joke!
she actually made a fool out of herself,
you could see the embarrassment on rahman face for being interviewed by her,
god!
then, there was the 'crowd',
for a movie with this big budget and expectation,
you expect to see a crowd but all that was seen was a handful of vip and politicians,
if this was launched in india or maybe uk, you be seeing a crowd,
no more like a mob of fans outside and inside the audio launch,
here it was more like some kids 10th birthday party with some vips,
luckily the props, lighting and dance was awesome,
the movie trailer looks great!
i wish this movie trailer doesnt turn out to be a bummer like what aadhavan movie trailer did,
great trailer but the movie sucked,
i expected to see more stars on the function but,
never mind that will do...
now all i have to do is wait for the movie release on september,
and thats like next month!
woohoo!
